CONVERS-ASIANS is the research strand of Where The Asians At‽ — preliminary research aimed at understanding the challenges to work and wellbeing experienced by Asian New Zealand musicians, gathered in conversation and written up by Balamohan Shingade. It opens with the question “Who is not present here?!” and closes with 24 preliminary recommendations.

The full report (46 pages) was published in October 2022; a summary — the first ten pages, prepared by SquareSums&Co. — followed in October 2023. Both are self-hosted here, as published, under their Creative Commons licence.
